History

Emery’s Catering is a family owned business, founded by Richard and Florence Emery in 1970. Since then, Emery’s Catering has greatly evolved, acquiring many locations, and extending into several different niches and aspects of the Catering Industry.


In 1994, The Emery Family purchased the Le Foyer Banquet Facility, which was mainly used as a neighborhood bar and well known banquet hall. This location was completely renovated in 2013 to add a restaurant and lounge facet to the business. In 1997, Emery’s Catering began its Airline Catering venture, which was then followed by the purchase of a Warwick location. This location was perfectly located near TF Green Airport which has been a client ever since.


In 2004 Matt Rowey, the third generation of the Emery’s family, joined his family’s business and in 2010 moved into his General Manager role. Soon after, Elizabeth Silver joined the team as a Wedding Coordinator in an effort to increase the number of weddings the company accepted, bookings have increased exponentially since! In 2017, Emery’s bought and completely renovated a new building in Warwick to accommodate the growing business. Our Warwick and Central Falls locations combined, and currently reside here.


Emery’s has a full staff of lead chefs, sous chefs, cooks, wait staff, bartenders, office and delivery personnel providing Social, Full Service, Corporate and Airline catering throughout Rhode Island, and into Connecticut and Massachusetts.
